Quick and Easy Mexican Noodles

This delicious Mexican noodles recipe was kind of a throw-together that worked well. It makes a nice alternative to rice.


12 ounces (340 g) noodles
1/4 cup (24 g) dry cheese sauce mix
1 cup (235 ml) skim milk
1/2 teaspoon (1.3 g) cumin
1/2 teaspoon (1.5 g) onion powder
1/4 teaspoon (0.8 g) garlic powder
1/2 cup (115 g) salsa


Cook noodles according to package directions. Combine sauce mix, milk, cumin, onion powder, and garlic powder in a jar with a tight-fitting lid. Shake well until sauce mix is dissolved. Cook and stir until thickened and bubbly. Stir in noodles and salsa.
