Delicious Chicken Cacciatore

This makes a great-tasting sauce with no extra work. And it’s always nice to come home to a meal that’s done and has filled the house with such an aroma.

Ingredients:

1 cup (160 g) onion, sliced
4 boneless chicken breasts
12 ounces (340 g) no-salt-added tomato paste
1/4 teaspoon (0.5 g) black pepper
1/2 teaspoon (1.5 g) garlic powder
1 teaspoon (1 g) dried oregano
1 teaspoon (0.7 g) dried basil
1/4 cup (60 ml) dry white wine
1/4 cup (60 ml) water

Directions:

Place onion in the bottom of a slow cooker. Place chicken on top. Combine remaining ingredients and pour over. Cook on low for 8 to 10 hours.
